ANDRITZ supplies burner systems to its own pulp industry projects and to applications in other industrial sectors, such as the energy industry, metallurgy and the process industry. Burner systems are used for heat and energy production and treat­ment of materials that are harmful to the environment. In a pulp plant, the odorous gases are treated by burner systems, with any useful compounds recovered whenever possible.

Makron is ANDRITZ’s long-term partner in mechanical engineering, production, and industrial automation. When the Finnish company Enviro­burners Oy merged with ANDRITZ, Makron was a strong candidate for a collaboration partner in the design of burner systems.
