Makron Power starts its operations in Mikkeli

Makron has founded a new automation and mechanical engineering company, Makron Power Oy, and will immediately start recruiting experts in Mikkeli.

“The shortage of skilled workers in the Päijät-Häme region has propelled Makron to come up with innovative solutions to ensure that we will find new professionals for the company, allowing us to secure growth that has been defined as one of our strategic targets,” explains CEO Johanna Vuopala. The study programs offered by South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, Xamk, based in Mikkeli, promotes competences required by Makron. We are looking for electrical, automation and mechanical engineers for our new facility, which allows us to have operations close to our clients in the Mikkeli region.

Makron's network of design offices already operates in Lahti, Espoo, and Savonlinna. Makron has electrical control cabinet manufacturing in Lahti and machine production in Aruküla near Tallinn.
