The average lifetime of Makron-designed machines is 30 years. We prioritize energy efficiency and optimize the use of metal. Ecological painting methods are an integral part of our machine design. In processes, we consider recycling of e.g. excess raw materials as well as technological upgradeability.
Makron’s modernizations increase circularity and improve return-on-investment. Upgrading existing machinery and processes prolongs their lifetime by 5–15 years. Modernization of an intralogistics system costs up to 80% less than replacement, causing a much shorter production stoppage.
